Introduction: The Media vs. Investor Reality
Yieldstreet enjoys glowing media coverage, with 4.5-star ratings and positive reviews that largely echo the company’s own marketing claims. Articles mention the lack of liquidity and accreditation requirements but fail to investigate the real risks investors face—risks Yieldstreet does not openly disclose.
The reality is far different, here are a few specific issues;
Investments advertised as income-producing have never paid a single dividend for several years.
Defaults are hidden from public view.
The advertised 9.6% IRR is mathematically impossible based on known losses.
Investors have repeatedly asked for financial transparency, only to be met with silence.
Investor stakes in some Yieldstreet LLCs have been significantly reduced no notification or explanation in any investor updates. In one case, ownership dropped from 0.24% to 0.083%, only discovered by carefully analyzing a K-1 tax document.
Denied Access to P&L Statements – Investors, despite being LLC members, have had direct requests for Profit & Loss statements denied, leaving them in the dark about financial performance.
We Are Asking For Your Help to Correct This Discrepancy in Public Perception.
We are urging journalists to look beyond the marketing and investigate the serious concerns raised by real investors. If you are a reporter interested in uncovering the full story, please contact us by email at
